From the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) Four Corners Program episode “In Google We Trust”.
Automatic Number plate Recognition technology was launched by Australia’s New South Wales police in 2009 as a means to photograph the number plates of every vehicle they pass on the state’s roads.
